Latest 100 Tips on Tricks by Melbourne Christopher, illustrations by Ed Mishell, published by Louis Tannen, 120 West 42nd Street, New York 18, New York, copyrighted 1953, first edition. The third and biggest in the "tip" series, 44 pages paperbound, slight discoloration from age, top right corner bent. other wise very good condition.

 

Jaspernese Thumb Tie by Jay Marshall, published by Brown's Magic Studio, 121 Lyman Street, Springfield Mass. USA, copyrighted 1939 by David H. Brown. 16 pages, paperbound. Shows slight wear, and age, back and front covers bent somewhat,  otherwise good condition. Outlines requirements, methods and presentation of this particular trick. Jay Marshall , also known as the Great Jasper was the originator of this  . trick.

 

Conjuring with Christopher, "a choice collection of magic with coins, cards, thimbles, silks, ropes, etc., plus a chapter on mental magic...and a variety of  feats for the stage. " by Melbourne Christopher, with introduction by Jean Hugard, illustrations by Dr. Jaks, published by  Holden's Magic Shops, copyrighted 1949. This book is softbound, 71 pages. Other than for slight discoloration due to age, very good condition.
The Journal of Hypnotism, January/February 1953. This magazine was published bi-monthly by Dr. Rexford L. North, editor, of Boston, Mass. and contained this caution, " Hypnotism is as yet a controversial subject. therefore, this publication cannot accept responsibility for the views expressed by the contributors." This issue, volume 2, issue 4, contained articles such as "Hypnotherapy for Homosexuality,"  "How to Hypnotize Yourself," "Hypnotism and Memory IV". With advertisements this magazine was 34 pages. Very good condition.
Easy Card Magic, written by  Rob Roy, published by American Arts, New York, copyrighted 1944 by Robert Isaacson, 24 pages softbound. Containing 27 card tricks. Edges show some slight chipping, and cover is slightly browned with age, otherwise good condition.
Fun and Magic Catalog, No. 15A, 1,500,399 Tricks, Jokes, and Novelties," Gags, Magic, Books, Joes, Disguises, Puzzles, Novelties," offered by the Elbee Co. San Antonio, Texas, 70 pages including back cover, softbound, includes an envelope which you apparently had to address yourself, but what did you want from a catalog that offered all this for 25c? Very good condition. Not dated.

 

50 Tricks with a Thumb Tip, "Manual of  Thumb Tip Magic" by Melbourne Christopher, with an introduction by Hen Fetsch, illustrated by "Yoshi" (any relation to Yanni?) published by D. Robbins & Company, of New York, New York, copyrighted 1948. Very good condition.
Analyze Your Dreams, Vol. 1, " A Clear Discussion of Dream Meanings with Relation to Daily Living and Health." written by William Arthur Evans, Phd., published by the Institute of Human technology, Inc. Dallas 4,Texas. Softbound, 64 pages. Cover spine is torn at top and bottoms, and left corners, top and bottom are bent,  but  not so to distract from appearance.
