Goods" Wellsville, KS. Dated march 4,1898, this handwritten letter on
ruled paper is an inquiry as to whether the George Ertel Co. "makes
an incubator that will hold about 60 to 75 eggs..." This letterhead
with fancy text includes an insignia with a buck's head in it, insignia
reads" Bucks Stoves and Ranges, The Peace Maker." Excellent
condition.

Bros. Atlantic Hosiery Mills, 289 South Third Street, Philadelphia,
PA. "manufacturers of fine seamless hosiery" Dated March 8,
1915, this letterhead pictures a gargoyle with a bit in its mouth, as
found on buildings of the era. The letter concerns a sampling of some
hosiery sent for inspection. Folded, with some wrinkling at bottom, and
small hole in upper left hand corner , letter is in otherwise good

vegetables" 2023 to 2039 Alicieanna St., Baltimore, MD. Dated October
3, 1908, this letter acknowledges receipt of an order, and pictures plant
with warehouses on a busy city street with pedestrians, horse drawn carts,
and railroad cars in foreground and masted ships at dock in rear of
building. Letter measures 8 1/2 and 7 1/2 inches and has some sketching in
lower column and minor ink stain in lower right corner |

wrappers, and dressing sacques". 220-224 St. Clair St., Toledo, OH.
Dated March 8,1909, this letter regards samples sent and thanks for
"a large reorder..." Insignia pictures an eagle sitting
upon a shield and underwear within a circle, with a ship bound westward
and a train east. 8 1/2 x 7 1/2, this letter is in good shape.

dare to dress well..." Brockton, Mass. Dated Sept. 3, 1908, this
letter regards a shipment of advertising booklets and instructions on how
to get the maximum benefit from them as an advertising medium. Pictures a
well dressed gentlemen against a globe holding a gigantic shoe. Letter is
wrinkled at bottom, with a slight discoloration, but otherwise very good |

New York. Dated March 23rd, 1909, this letter regards sent and a request
that they be returned whole. Letterhead is fancy text against embroidery

Gulf Hotel, "on the Gulf of Mexico--Near New Orleans" This
handwritten letter on hotel stationary, dated Feb. 14, 1889, on an
oblong page measuring 6 1/4 x 12 , deals none the less with a business
matter in which writer states that stock is off again, and wishes to be
compensated for travels.Vignette
is of a sumptuous hotel on the water front with people in the surrounding
yard, and a sailing boat and other in the foreground. Very good condition,
unique. |
